Personal Statement
My goal is to receive a basketball scholarship, be a great student and get a medical degree to become a Orthopedic Surgeon. Just like many other people I would like the opportunity to play at the next level. Once I receive my degree I plan to work with athletes to help them heal their bodies and fix their bodies.
Basketball and athletics is a passion for me. I am not afraid of hard work and doing the hard work to make myself better and those around me better then they were the previous day. At the age of 9 my father who was a football player and power lifter had me flipping tires, dragging tires up a hill along with the pull ups and push ups. Hard work isn't something I'm afraid of because I am used to it.
What makes me different is that I don't just think about myself but I also care about my community and other students and other people around me. I strive to be a great person and a great athlete. I am and will worker harder than the other person on and off the court to reach my goals. I would like to be able to start a foundation to provide quality coaching and the opportunity for kids to play basketball or football. I would like to help those that are less fortunate to do things that we all do on a day to day basis.
