Derek Lanza I95 ...Personal Statement
Baseball has always been my favorite sport and I am excited to take on the next challenge. All of the other sports or activities I tried always fell short. I would say to my parents, "That was fun, but it isn't Baseball ''.
I love being a team player and being part of a team. The bond I built with my teammates is very important to me. In the dugout or during practice learning from teammates helps me to be a better player. I get as much satisfaction from my teammates' success as I do from my own.
My goal is to be as successful as I can be in any role or opportunity I go after. Hard work, dedication and positive attitude goes a long way.
No matter how hard a challenge is, I always feel I can succeed by keeping a positive attitude and being goal driven.
