Baseball is often quoted as a "game of failure". I have been through many of these failures, time and time again. These failures have taught me how to be resilient and grow from setbacks. I learned to focus on the positive, even in negative situations. This enabled me to become a better baseball player; in fact, a better person overall.
I am grateful for many things in my life. I am very fortunate to have supportive parents, great teachers, amazing coaches, and many teammates that are still my friends today. I was taught the importance of being honest, doing the right thing, having a strong work ethic, and learning to push myself even when I thought I had nothing left. This foundation has enabled me to become a leader both in the classroom and on the field. I am confident I can be a tremendous asset to your school and team!
