- 6/23/20 Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Uses a double tap timing trigger during back load to hands. Level path that stays compact through the zone. Rotational sequence. Barrel gets in.out of the zone quickly. Generates quality ball flight when staying through contact. Hit tool showed up in game. Saw spin well and took several comfortable swings against mid 80s velocity. Power:Line drive pop. Offensive Projection:Top of lineup. Max BP Exit:81 mph Max BP Distance:250 ft Field:In the infield he plays with a controlled tempo throughout the process. Not a flashy defender but looks to be sure-handed. Throw:Arm really works. Expect much more velo as he matures physically. Defensive Projection:Multiple Spots. Scouting Notes:On the mound the right-hander works with good tempo on the mound to a delivery that requires little effort. Arm is clean/works well. Would expect him to continue to add velocity as he adds strength. Complements the fastball with an 11/5 shaped breaking ball that shows signs of sharpness to come. Also mixed in a changeup or two that he looks to be developing. Strike thrower for the most part. Fastball:74-76 mph. Fastball Spin Rate:1764-1942 Curveball:61-64 mph. Curveball Spin Rate:2040-2100 Changeup: 66-67 mph.

- 2/17/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Fast paced delivery with a high leg kick. Works down-hill with a violent release arm motion. Throws out of the high ¾ arm slot. Fastball: Heavy through the zone at 77mph. Curveball: Presents high depth with 12/6 break. Stays high in the zone but shows potential as a great offering. Changeup: Arm side fade while living low in the zone at 69mph.

- 07/12/2021 - All-In Membership - Cleveland, OH Ashton is an athletic RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. On the mound, he gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through on his release, staying inline towards the plate. He shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 80 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. Slider is harder with tight spin and short / late break. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. He can improve as a pitcher by long tossing to build up his arm strength. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Ashton has potential with time and room to progress his game.
