Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Colin Thomas. I am currently a senior at Boardman High School. Growing up, I have always wanted to continue to play baseball through college. I’m a multi sport athlete with a 3.2 GPA. Since I have had the opportunity to play multiple sports, I feel that it has made me a better player and teammate. My experiences have taught me how to work together as one. I am an athlete who will work hard and do what is needed for my team, playing the position that needs me. My strengths are Center Field and Left Field. My strongest assets are my work ethic and my ability to stay calm under pressure. I will spend hours practicing my foot work in the outfield, going to the batting cages to practice my swing and lifting at my local gym. My goal is to get the opportunity to play baseball at the college level. I look forward to hearing more about your baseball program. Thank you.
