My ultimate goal is to play in the MLB. I have dreamed of this for as long as I can remember. However, I realize that I need a fallback career in case the MLB does not come true. I want to get a degree in finance for two reasons. 1. I can manage my own money when I make it to the MLB. 2. I can make money no what happens with my baseball career. I want to play at the college level because I can't imagine my life without baseball. I have been playing on three different teams this past year and still keeping up with grades at school, so I feel like I will continue to do that and be able to also do that in college.
I am a hard worker and like discipline on my team. I feel like the only way to get better is to be challenged and told when you need to improve. I do like to be told when I am doing well, but I don't mind being coached on how to do better. My private pitching and hitting coach says I am the most coachable kid he has ever worked with. When he tells me to do things to improve my pitch or batting skills I make the adjustment immediately and incorporate it into my skills. I also love playing third base. I can also play outfield.
I am a straight-A student with one C. I got it in the first semester of my seventh-grade year when I changed schools, and we started during the height of Covid online. I am plan on retaking that class as it important for me to have a 4.0 GPA.
