Jace Bateman '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jace Bateman and since the age of 10 I have had a goal to play baseball at the collegiate level. I am a three sport, varsity athlete with a 3.4 GPA and have aspirations to pursue a degree in Construction Engineering & Management. Baseball has always been my first love and 7 years of club baseball has provided me with an opportunity to become a strong pitching and hitting threat, an equally strong utility player, and further develop and advance my natural baseball IQ and leadership skills. During the past two summers I have worked full-time for a commercial construction company on grade crew and running heavy equipment, all while playing on a club travel baseball team, juggling both a school summer basketball tournament league and school football workouts, as well as participating in FFA. These experiences have taught me the importance of commitment, a strong work ethic, hustle, and a true appreciation for the people and community who have supported me to pursue the sports I love. I believe I would be an asset to your school and baseball program both on and off the field, and if given the opportunity would prove that a hard-working farm kid has what it takes to help build your team.
