Personal Statement
The most defining characteristic about me would be work ethic. My parents have taught me that if you are willing to put in the work, anything is achievable. Over the years I have applied this to baseball and academics. I love the challenges baseball presents. Every time I step on the mound or enter the batter's box there is a new opportunity to be challenged; to prove to myself that the hours of practice and training have prepared me well.
I've always enjoyed a strong bond with my coaches, and I am looking for that in a college coach as well. My coaches know they can rely on me to be disciplined and serve as an example to the younger players. It is my hope that I will find like- minded athletes and coaches in a college setting that will feel like a family.
Being raised an entrepreneurial household, I plan to study business and finance. Investments and the stock market have always intrigued me so I could see studying to be a financial advisor or possibly run my own business someday.
