Hello- My name is Callan Vreim. I am currently an incoming senior at North Eugene High School in Eugene, Oregon. I was born on May 8, 2003 in Springfield, Oregon. I am currently 6’1 and 193 LBS. My primary position is 3rd base and my secondary position is first. I am also a right-handed pitcher. I LOVE the game of baseball. I began playing the game when I was 4 years old. I have had the opportunity to learn the game from many great coaches. I know without them I wouldn't be the player that I am today. I know that there is always more to learn and I always work hard to improve in all areas of my game. When I am not playing baseball or in school, I enjoy working out, fishing, and spending time with my family and friends. When I am not practicing on the field, I spend time in the gym three times per week with a trainer. Over the past two summers I have spent time at the Texas Baseball Ranch working on my pitching velocity. My family has always supported me in baseball. They are behind me 100% and want to help me reach my baseball goals. My mom has spent many summers traveling with me to baseball tournaments in Oregon and Washington. When it comes to college I would like to be a personal trainer or physical therapist. I want to help people the way my trainer has helped me. I have played varsity baseball since I was a freshman in high school. I played 2nd, 3rd and pitched on the Varsity. I feel that my game has jumped to the next level this summer. I have pitched, played 1st and 3rd and even a little at 2nd. My greatest accomplishment this summer has been my improved hitting. I would like to assure all of the college coaches interested in me that I'm a hard worker. I strive to be the best person that I can be on and off the field. I am committed to do whatever it takes to play baseball in college. I love the game and it is a huge part of my life. Thank you, Callan Vreim.
