2024 Highlights #2
2024 Highlights Hello! My name is Jacob Hohl, and I am an Incoming Junior from Exeter Township Senior High School. I've been playing baseball since I was 4 years old, and I've always thought about taking baseball to the next level. I have had my ups and downs when it comes to my career, but I feel that at this point in my life there is so much more that I can achieve in the sport. Academically, my GPA has surfaced around the 3.2 area out of 4 my whole High School career, but I believe I am capable of so much more, so I am aiming to raise that to above a 3.5 this year! I feel that I can take my Pitching and Batting to the college level as my confidence and mindset is locked into gaining strength and maintaining my composure while playing the sport. There are many things that separate me from the other recruits around me that others can agree on. I am a very positive person and a striving leader (I always have a smile on my face), I am able to maintain my composure while playing the sport and not let the emotions get to me, and on the athletic level, my pitching is very unique because my pitching has always had natural movement considered to look like a cutter. Currently, I am focusing on using that natural cut that I have and the natural tail away that a lefty contains and splitting them into different pitches so I can use that to my advantage. I am so ready for the recruitment process and excited to grow and develop with any college that gives me the chance!
