Kaleb Keith '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kaleb Keith and I am 17 years old. I am 6'4" tall and weigh 250 pounds. I have been playing competitive baseball since I can remember. I started varsity in D'hanis Texas my fresman year and helped lead our team to the Regional Finals with an 8-2 record to end the year. As a team, we made it to the Regional Semi-Finals my Sophmore year and I ended the year with another 8-2 record. One of my most memorable moments was when I pitched 51 pitches in 5 innings in route to a 11-0 win. I recieved Newcomer of the Year my Freshman year and Offensive MVP my Sophmore year. I recieved District MVP, Texas Sportswriters Association second team all state pitcher and third team 1st base my junior year.  I am currently playing baseball in San Antonio with a team named Powerswing Titans. We play in tournaments every weekend during the summer in San Antonio. Also competed in American Legion baseball.  I haven't decided what I want to do after high school as of yet, as baseball is my life's ambition. I help my dad take care of a hunting ranch near D'hanis Texas, so ranch management or wildlife management may be something I'd be interested in. Texas Tech, Texas University, Baylor, Ranger Junior College, or San Jacinto Junior College would be nice as they are all not too far from home. I am open to other possibilities as long as I get to play baseball, and yes, financial help would be an added bonus. I am not afraid of hard work and will try almost anything to help improve myself as a person and a baseball player. I think with hard work and the right help, I would be able to play at the highest level of competition. Thank you, Kaleb Keith
