Devon Ashcraft '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, my name is Devon Ashcraft, I am 5'8" and weigh 162 pounds. I have played the game of baseball for the past 9 years and have developed a deep passion and love for the game. My goal and desire is to compete at a collegiate level.  I am a good candidate for your team because I am capable of playing every position except for pitcher, however I excel in the MIF and am becoming a very strong catcher.  I am a contact hitter, and a "get the job done" kind of guy at the plate. I am different from other recruits because I have a driving passion for the game of baseball.  I am a versatile player, who doesn't know the meaning of quit or give up and is willing to do whatever it takes everyday to improve and get better.  I believe in hard work on and off the baseball field and I am just as serious about my academics with a 3.6 GPA.  I know that there is nothing I can't do when I put my mind to it and work hard.
