Mason Brooks '22 Recruiting Profile

For as long as I can remember, baseball has been a big part of my life. I fell in love with the outfield when I was eight years old. It all started when I made the 8u all-star team. Nobody else my age could catch a ball in the outfield except for me. So, the coaches put me in centerfield and it has stuck ever since. My high school academic goals are to graduate with a 4.0 GPA and have acquired 30 college credit hours. Outside of baseball and school, I attend church regularly and participate in my church’s youth group. Every year, my youth group goes on a trip called “Hike the Light” where we get to hike in the woods to raise money for missionaries all over the world. Because I have grown up without a dad, my grandpa stepped up and has always influenced me to be a great baseball player and young man.
