David CARRILLO '23 Recruiting Profile

My long term goal is to play with a team in the major leagues, just like many of my fellow Venezuelan heroes. My short term goal is to play for a division 1 college. I have played baseball since i was 4 years old. I also like to play basketball and video games. I consider myself a very coachable player, who always support his teammates and is very loyal to his squad. In my last travel team, my coaches selected me as the 1st team captain in the history of the team. I always give 100%  and want to see my teammates also doing the same.  I like having fun playing baseball and love travelling with the team. I'm also a very good student. I'm a member of the National Junior Honors Society and was a Honor Roll student my whole 8th grade. I speak English and Spanish and love listening to music. I love playing baseball at the highest level of competition.  My most memorable experience was when I played in the Cooperstown Dreampark tournament in 2017.  One of my future goals is to comeback to Cooperstown as a coach with my own team.
