I have played baseball for most of my life. I have been on successful summer leagues and gone to a World Series prior to High School. In High School (Fort Worth Christian) I stopped playing select baseball and decided to just play for the school. At the end of my sophomore season I was ready to make a change. After 11 years at the same school, I transferred to Keller High. I wanted educational opportunities and I also wanted to challenge myself to break into an established athletic program. At this time, I went back to summer baseball and I was selected for the MSL (Metro Scout League) for this past fall. I worked my way up to playjng on the top JV team at Keller. Now I am actively pursuing my passion of being a baseball player.
I am also an active member of my community. I volunteer outside of school (with over 200 hours during my years in High school) volunteering for things like Victory Therapy Center, where adults and children receive equine therapy, and at my local library where I shelve children’s books weekly. I attend the church where my parents were married, and where my sister and I have grown up. We have a family business owned by my dad that I work at during the summer where he has taught me self-discipline and hard work earning my plumbing apprentice license. This year I will be playing football for Varsity an active member of student council and DECA. My mother has influenced me to be faithful and selfless in everything.
My goal is to go to a good college where I can pursue a degree in Business Management and play the game I love, baseball. My GPA is a 3.5 and I work hard to maintain my grades daily.
