My first goal in college is to obtain my degree. Along with continuing my education, I also have a goal to continue playing baseball in college, a sport I have loved since I started playing at 5 years old. If given the opportunity, I would love to continue playing baseball in college.
I put in work daily to work towards my goals. Whether it's homework for school to ensure good grades, or extra lessons for pitching and hitting, I'm always working to get better. I also attend a strength, agility, and conditioning program at D1 Training so that I can keep in top physical condition.
In addition to playing for my high school baseball team, I also play on a travel baseball team. I have played various positions and have willingly played whatever position my coach has asked me to play. So far, my main positions have been pitcher, first and third base, left and right field.
I strive to be a good teammate. I encourage my team to do the best they can, and I pick them up when needed. I'll be the first to give a high five or pat on the back. The camaraderie of team means a lot to me.
I am a hard worker both on and off the field. In between school and sports, I have various chores I take care of around my house including mowing the yard, keeping my room clean, and helping my dad with whatever needs to be done, which can be anything from cleaning to gutters annually to putting up our outside Christmas lights.
I am respectful, coachable and strive to be a good role model for others. I'm looking forward to my college experience, and I would love to continue playing baseball and supporting a collegiate level team.
