Personal Statement
Hello my name is Clenard Griffin III, better known as "Trae." I am currently a Senior attending Willis High School. I am a right handed hitter and thrower. My primary position is SS and 2B, although I have the athletic ability to play some outfield. I would consider myself a play-maker all over the field who communicates loud and clear. I have been told numerous times I am very coachable. The support of my parents and coaches from the age of four has fueled my love for the game. Baseball has given me the opportunity to learn more about myself on and off the field, it has taught me countless life lessons. When I'm not playing baseball I'm either working out or enjoying my family. As college approaches I would like to major in Psychology and minor in business in order to later become a psychiatrist, if baseball doesn't go my way. As far as my baseball accomplishments, I've played in Florida an abundance of times, Georgia a couple of times, I've played and started at the varsity level, and the past two summers won national titles with my summer team, Houston Kyle Chapman. In conclusion, I'd like to assure college coaches interested that I constantly working in order to become not only a better baseball player but student and person as well. I appreciate your time and effort, Trae Griffin.
