Colson Schubert '22 Recruiting Profile

I love the game of baseball. When I'm not playing, I enjoy watching it and studying the players and talking strategy. I am a team player and want to surround myself with teammates that will help me become better, while also pushing those around me in the same way.  I am driven, a hard worker, coachable and I love to compete! While I like to have fun playing the game, I love to WIN more. 

I have had some adversity to work through and have come out on the other side stronger and better because of the grit, drive and determination I had to show. Never giving up and having a possibilities mindset has caused me to stand out on the teams for which I have played. I have been told that I have a beautiful swing, have quick hands and good bat speed and my team can count on me to hit well each at bat. My defense is solid too, showing hustle, athleticism and maximum effort any chance I have to make a play. 

I commit to humbly lead on a team, once I earn the trust and respect of others, and am seeking the chance to do just that.
