I am a ballplayer who aspires to succeed both in the classroom and on the diamond in college. The dream would be to play and study at a competitive university; however, such an achievement doesn’t come easily on the field or in the classroom. What makes me different from other recruits and a good candidate for a college team is how I enjoy the ongoing, never-ending challenges of baseball. Baseball is challenging physically but much more so mentally. As I attend a school with only 1 sport, baseball not one of them, finding a team to play with can be challenging, connections can be limiting. However, that has never stopped me in the past nor will it now as I have played for some exceptional travel teams. The Canes 2023 Mid Atlantic team to name one. You can currently find me on the roster for Canes North Prospects for the upcoming summer season. As a ballplayer, I am versatile with my primary being 3rd base, I’m also a middle infielder both short and second, and a pitcher. At the plate I try not to do too much besides hit the ball hard up the middle and into the gaps. I consider myself to be a well rounded student, maintaining grades, having a 4.05 GPA with Jazz Band and Theatre Tech being some of my interests outside of school. I am also currently a two sport player, playing for HB-Woodlawn's Varsity Ultimate Frisbee team. HB, being located in what is consider an Ultimate Frisbee "Hub", has been considered to be regarded Nationally in the Frisbee Community, going to show how the standard of athleticism isn't taken lightly at HB. As a ballplayer, frisbee not only benefits me from a conditioning, endurance, speed and stamina standpoint, but from also a team communication standpoint. In college I’d like to perhaps go into Kinesiology and/or Biomechanics not only to learn more about these sciences but how to apply them to my game of baseball as well. Other areas of study that I'm interested in include Sports Business Management, Nutrition (Dietetics), Applied Mechanics, Exercise Science, Human Health, etc.
