My goals for college are to continue to grow as a baseball player and as a person. I believe that to become who you are made to be, you must trust in God’s plan and realize your abilities and talents that contribute to it.
I have been successful as a leader of my teams and feel these experiences have prepared me for college baseball. As a leader and teammate, I believe it is part of my role to build my teammates up whether through in-game correction or with their personal choices. For me, being a part of a team goes far beyond the field.
Similarly, my academic choices and successes have been supported through positive roles models and teachers. I have earned academic awards including consecutive honor roll recognition and membership to the National Junior Honor Society. Further, I have been recognized three times for virtue awards that highlighted my character and interactions with my peers.
In conclusion, my biggest aspiration is that my college baseball career continues to build me, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. I look forward to being on a team where I can contribute all my talent and abilities.
