Wilson Estep '23 Recruiting Profile

My Name is Wilson Estep and I am a Submarine Pitcher for Virginia Peninsula Community College. I graduated from Walsingham Academy with a 3.8 GPA and currently am holding a 3.4 GPA going through my sopomore year at VPCC. At Walsingham Academy, I was a 4-time State Champion and Conference Champion. I pitched over 80 innings for Walsingham Academy. I hold the record for career saves at Walsingham Academy and single season saves. In my freshman year at Virginia Peninsula, I pitched 32.2 innings with an ERA of 5.78 throughout the season, improving month by month, as my ERA in April into May was 1.17. these stats were all accumulated while i was throwing 66-68mph

I am currently throwing a fastball at 71-74mph, with 24 inches of run, a sinker with 30 inches of run at 71mph, and a slider at 65mph. I am looking forward to improving and adding more accomplishments and statistics on this personal statement as my college career continues.
