Nick Bowersock Ba...My name is Nick Bowersock and I am a 17-year old 5'8" 160 lb. shortstop/pitcher from Cedarcrest High School. As a freshman, I was a Varsity starter and leadoff hitter. My sophomore year I started at shortstop and was 2nd team All-Conference with a .347 average. Although I had a finger injury during a portion of my junior year, I was still the starting shortstop and even threw a 12-strikeout no hit/no run game in League play. Outside of high school, I have had a great deal of success on very high-end select and Team USA squads. I was selected to represent the Northwest in the USA Baseball National Team Identification Series (NTIS) in Cary, North Carolina in 2011 & 2012. In 2013, I played for the Team Northwest team that placed 2nd in the West Team Championships in Arizona. I played summer ball from 2011-13 with O'Brien Autogroup Baseball out of Bellevue, WA. In those 3 years, the team won a Triple Crown World Series, were ranked 7th in the West and 21st in the country (according to Travelballselect.com), placed ahead of all the West Coat teams in the Elite 32; and 2nd place in the USABF World Series, beating teams like the San Diego Show. This fall, I played for the premier team in the Northwest (Chaffey) in a community college League. I am looking forward to a monster senior year and have set aside both football and basketball to focus on winter workouts and getting ready for the high school season. I am serious about wanting to take baseball to the next level and my goal is to play college baseball at school with a great baseball program. I want to make my college baseball team as a freshman, become a leader and work my way up to the top in college baseball. My performance in college will drive my next goals.
