Personal Statement

youTube channel with highlights and skills videos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChmH21N8Vf-avSkyzY2I8gQ

Baseball is a sport that teaches many valuable life lessons, and an especially important one is dealing with failure.  It has taught me to stay motivated to keep improving no matter what the outcome. I want to continue learning which is why continuing my baseball career as long as possible is one of my biggest goals. I love to learn and get better, I love to compete, I love to win, and I love everything about the game. My passion for the game has grown ever since I first touched a baseball. I have always wanted to be the best on the field, as a teammate and as a player. I have always been very competitive in any sport especially in baseball, and I have always loved to be challenged. As a 16 year old I am playing on an 18u travel team because I love facing high level players to compete against. I play whatever position the coach needs during the game, whether it be outfield or infield.

On the academic side I have always strived to do the best I can be in school. Just like baseball, I have always loved to be challenged in school. I attend the best academic school in Washington, Tesla STEM High School. Our school's courses are very rigorous and challenging prime reasons I chose to attend - every course I take is a honors class or above. I also want to continue to further my education in STEM concepts through college which is another reason I chose to attend Tesla High School.

I am a very hard worker in whatever I do so I know wherever I go I know I will be a great asset to the team - on and off the field.
