All my life I've watched my mom work her butt off for my younger sister and I. At one point she was working 3 jobs just to keep us in cheer. Since 2013 when we started All Star Cheer we always fundraised our SO fee's. From her and my grandma working the Firework booths during 4th of July every single day to food fundraisers, my mom always made it happen for us. All she asked was to get good grades in school and work hard at practice. I know there's times she's exhausted but doesn't quit. One summer we were on a inflatable water slide and we begged my mom to go on with us, she kept saying "no if I get on I know I'm going to get hurt" we were like no you won't. So she went up and slide down the slide landing over her feet breaking her left foot. My heart sank when I heard her screaming in pain. Long story short she had to see a Orthopedic Surgeon for her foot and I fell in love with the idea of becoming one after attending all her appointments with her. I can and will work hard to get there, but I also want to cheer along the way. I want to be part of team that becomes family. I want my college experience to be the greatest experience one could ask for. I will be the first to attend college and I want to do it cheering. We don't get to cheer forever so I want to cheer for as long as I'm able to during my college life.
