My goal is to play football at the collegiate level and play the game as long as it will allow me. I plan on getting a degree along the way, but I have not decided what degree I ultimately will pursue.
I have always loved football. I was the youngest player on my first team as a 6 year old and after I was hit for the first time I just smiled and have enjoyed everything about the game. My teammates are always part of my family. I do enjoy playing basketball and baseball, but my love in sports is football.
The importance of doing well academically has been stressed upon me by both parents. I know that without a solid education and doing well I may not be able to pursue my dreams of playing football after high school. I work hard to maintain my good grades and to develop my skills as a football player. I am not afraid to see my shortcomings, develop a plan for improvement, and then work to improve.
I believe I make a great candidate for any team. I work hard, I support my teammates, I am accountable, and I always look to find ways to make the team better. I have always maintained a balance with my athletics and my academics, and I plan to do the same in college and hope to prove that to my future team. If given the chance, you will get to know that my character is as strong as my commitment to be the best person I can be everyday.
