I'm a 6'2, 190-pound athlete/linebacker/tight end from Polytechnic School in Pasadena, CA, and I am confident that I can contribute to a college football program. Playing at a small school, I have played anywhere the team needed me: offensive line, defensive line, linebacker, and receiver. I played on varsity as a freshman and started both ways as a sophomore and junior. As a freshman, I was voted “best teammate” by my JV basketball team and received JV basketball MVP as a sophomore. I take pride in being a hard worker on and off the field and court and being a leader in the locker room as well as in other areas of my life.
I go to a very academically rigorous and competitive school in which I took seven courses during my freshman, sophomore, and junior years, so I’m looking to play at a smaller, higher academic college; that being said, I’m very open to other types of schools. As of now, I’m considering studying humanities in college, although I’m also interested in science, math, and music. My goals are to contribute to a program, to push my teammates to be better athletes, students, and people, to compete, to learn and grow as a person, and to foster an outstanding community.
