Deverick Dow '21 Recruiting Profile

Being a key factor to my schools first playoff appearance was the highlight of my high school career. Being only a junior, I am excited to see how I can lead my team in getting our schools first playoff win next year. Growing up I was a very athletic kid and was very active, so my parents put me in all kinds of sports to get a feel of the potential I had. The deep love I developed for football was like no other. I didn't really have anyone to teach me how to play football so the self grind I've instilled in myself is one I am most proud about. I have been faced with many difficult situations regarding family, friends and football and those challenges serve as my main source of motivation to be the best I can. My goal in life is to make it to collage, study something I am deeply invested in and be able to play the sport I love. These goals I have set for myself will never be put to the side and I will grind as much as I need to in order to accomplish these goals. +
