(rev. 10/5/10) I am a 6"2", 200 lb senior QB with 4 years on varsity and I am passionate about my sport, my team, and doing whatever it takes to play at the next level. I love training and playing more than anything and show that dedication in the locker room and on the field. Coach looks to me to lead and motivate and I believe I motivate by showing my work ethic. I never miss a practice or a workout and give it 100% no matter what. The letters of recommendation on NCSA are proof that I am considered a leader at the school and on the field. My stats were top in the area senior year (in my area: 2nd in yards, 1st in completions, Regional All-Star team MVP. state wide: #7 in passing for 3A, #13 in passing overall, invite to All-Star game in Daytona Beach) and junior year(7 games - 2nd in completions, 3rd in yards out of 13 QBs) even though I fractured 2 bones in my throwing arm during the 1st quarter of the 2nd game of the season. The surgeon, Dr. Callahan at the Andrews Institute, put me back in the game and with a bye, I only missed 2 games. Nothing mattered to me but getting back in the game. I continued to play in a custom-splint that extended around my thumb and with a protective clamshell on top of that, but the stats are proof that I can perform no matter what. For the upcoming season, Coach is implementing the Tony Franklin System. Coach thinks I have all the attributes to run the system and run it well. My footwork agility and explosiveness sets me apart from other QBs, and with my arm strength, I know I have what it takes to do my job so my team gets the rewards they deserve. As my senior season progresses, the offense is putting points on the board (6, 21, 40, 31) and we are tweaking our game to be even better. I was invited to try out (based on stats) and am now a member of a Northwest Florida 7-on-7 team as their QB (play ceased in the summer). 7 of those teammates are already D1 verbal commits and the local newspaper, Pensacola News Journal has named 3 of us (me included) as being 5 players in the area expected to receive D1 offers before the end of the season. Playing with that caliber of athletes was the best and I'm more than ready for that level of competition in college. Academically, my strengths are math and science. If I find a perfect fit to play ball at a college that doesn't have these majors, I can specialize in graduate school. The best case scenario would be to sign for a team in the South so my family can be in the stands, but my dream is football, and I'll follow that dream wherever it takes me.
