Personal Statement

I am a 2023 kicker/punter that enjoys the thrill of kicking under pressure. After overcoming adversity of a season ending injury during my varsity season as a sophomore, I am more appreciative of the talent that God has given me and there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t take the opportunity to kick or train. I am a passionate and respectful teammate willing to do whatever my coach and team asks of me, highly motivated, loyal and competitive. I am driven to work hard in the classroom and on the field in hopes of playing at the next level.
In addition to football, I enjoy soccer. I volunteer in our local soccer club as a recreational coach for a U6 team. I have also been on a mission trip to Germany where I planned and executed a soccer camp with my mission team. I enjoy serving and investing in others through sports. My experience of playing soccer and football, as well as coaching, has peaked my interest in pursing a degree in sports medicine.
