Recently I was diagnosed with a learning disability. I have struggled to maintain the grades that I have and athletics has always been a way for me to let out my frustration whether that was football, wrestling, baseball or track. I understand struggle and when things don't come easy you have to work at it. I have always been willing to try anything. In general I am an hands on learner which is why football is great you see it them you do it. I started my high school football career as an OLB and snapper, as a 10th grader they need a B-team quarterback so for the first time in my life I played that position along with snapping for the A -team. As a junior I was not able to play most of the season due to an accident outside of football instead of doing nothing I chose to learn more about the game by assisting the coaching staff with tracking plays which has lead me to be effective being a safety. I want coaches and teammates to know that I am willing to play and learn for whatever position is needed. As a long snapper I am small for what someone would consider a traditional snapper but I take pride in snapping for punts, PAT's and field goals and have learned to be effective and I have no fear. I have a job to do.
