Hunter Englehart '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hunter Englehart, and I am a sophomore running back at Red Cloud High School in Red Cloud Nebraska. Last season as a freshman I worked very hard to get playing time and eventually start on the varsity level. Now as a sophomore and after hard work and determination I am the starting varsity running back for this season.

 I strongly believe my strengths are my field vision, leadership skills, work ethic, and high football IQ. I'm very coachable and am very open to criticism that will help me improve my game. I pride myself in my off-season training and constant need to improve. 

 I am very interested in going to a school that takes academics seriously and is willing to help me excel on and off the field and reach my full potential in the classroom. I take my academics very seriously as I believe that your work ethic in the classroom determines your mindset, and you work ethic on the field. I make sure to study hard and apply myself to the classroom. Another focus of mine is just trying to be the best leader and person I can be. I am active in my youth group for my church and try to lead by example. I want to give back to my community and make my family proud and give my six siblings an older brother that they can look up too.
