My name is Aidan Heaney. I am relatively new to the game of football. I started playing in 8th grade, and fell in love with it. It is unlike any other sport I have ever played, there is a bond and brotherhood connection that carries you both on and off the field. Football is a big commitment as it is an all year round sport. This has helped me with time management, competitiveness, work ethic, and most importantly holding myself accountable. Football separates itself from any other sport because it is a team game, you and your teammates need to have each others back. The more time I spend around the game the more I realize how much it means to me. This is why I want to play at the next level. Each year I learn more about football and continue to improve. Due to me starting my football journey so late I have a lot of upside. My goals going into next season is to win and perform, while also being a leader on the team. We had a lot of seniors graduate from the program this year so Im excited to take a bigger role amongst the team to help guide the younger kids, as I have varsity experience from this past year. I hope in the upcoming two years I can do enough for my team as well as myself to get recognized by college programs. I look forward to the journey.
