Personal Statement
My name is Stefaun Mackey, my team and coaches call me Boo. I originally thought that I wanted to be a professional bull rider, but after starting football in first grade I knew that was what I wanted to do. I played for Chandler Youth Organization from first to sixth grade and started both offense and defense. My primary position is Quarterback, but I have also played Safety and Corner. My coaches would tell you that I am a leader on and off the football field. I love everything about the game, playing the game, studying the game, watching the game and working hard to excel in the game. I'm an athlete, also playing basketball and baseball.
In my free time, I spend a lot of time on the basketball court shooting hoops with friends, work at my grandpa's cattle farm and helping my mom take care of my two little sisters.
I recently attended the DeBartolo QB camp over Spring Break and QB Impact Camp last summer. I learned a lot. I learned that I can always improve my fundamentals and that the way that the person I am off the field is just as important as the person I am on the field.
I have just started establishing my relationship with my High School football coach and am excited going into my Freshman year and getting to play for him.
