Basketball has been my favorite activity as long as I can remember. I played and enjoyed other sports, like soccer and tennis, but I always came back to basketball. I love playing it, watching it, and talking about it, and it would be amazing to compete at a collegiate level after high school.
On the court, I am smart and cool under pressure. I tend to lead by example more than with my voice and am very coachable, both at practice and during games. I am not afraid to take the last shot or get a big stop, but I don't always need the ball in my hands.
Off the court, I excel in the classroom, with 4.0+ GPA, and interact with my community, reffing the local kids in the Rec league and as a counselor at Sports Camp. I also have a job and during my free time enjoy mountain biking, surfing and backpacking. I work hard at whatever I do and am friendly and easy going socially. I think I will be a great fit for any school or team given an opportunity.
