2024 HighlightsMy name is Andon Watson, and I am a 16-year-old out of Van Meter Iowa. I am originally from Provo Utah. I have 7 siblings; 4 boys, 3 girls, and around 30 total cousins. Growing up in a large family has taught me the importance and value of hard work, teamwork, support, and moldability. These lessons have instilled themself in me and extend far beyond my home life most noticeably presenting themselves in my athletic and academic endeavors. My passion for athletics has helped me build a better attitude, keeping me motivated and committed no matter what. I enjoy and strive to become better as I continuously look for ways to improve myself and sharpen my abilities on and off the court. What sets me apart from other recruits is my commitment to my team, my coaches, and myself as well as my commitment to my academic pursuits as well. I understand and enjoy the importance of hard work in the classroom and the pursuit of knowledge. Not only do I want to focus on sports but I want to pursue a career in sports management or personal finance. I am very coachable and will take any and all constructive criticism to heart and improve any weaknesses I find on my journey to achieve my athletic potential and life dreams. I am so excited at the prospect of joining a collegiate team and taking my athletic career to the next level where I can continue to hone my skills and become an all-around better athlete and person. I look forward to and am ready to embrace new challenges and support my teammates in their journeys as well. I am not just another recruit I am a hardworking, coachable, determined athlete who is willing to do whatever is asked of them.
