"Buying-In" is a term that my coaches love to use. In all aspects, they will throw around this phrase and it has always stuck with me and I credit it somewhat with the type of player that I have evolved into today. In Kentucky, we are known for hard physical defense and smart offensive passing and shot selection. If I could choose one sentence to describe my basketball skill set it would be that hard physical defense followed by smart offensive play on the other end. I haven't always grown up being the leading scorer on my AAU teams or being highly ranked for my size; however, whenever coaches watched they knew I would do anything for my team to win. I would "Buy-In" to my role and was always did the fundamental things that others would not, like boxing out and communicating on both ends of the floor.
