Jake Luthy '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jake Luthy.  I have been playing basketball since the age of 5 and have been treating it as my passion and main sport since the age of 10.  I am currently a Sophomore at St. John Vianney High School in the Class of 2019.  This past summer I played AAU basketball for Rocktown Basketball Group on the 15u team.  I have also played for the W.I.T.T.S Eagles and the St. Louis Eagles.  I have two years experience training with W.I.T.T.S and Pure Sweat and have spent the past year training with a personal skills trainer.  On the court I am a very hard worker and a competitor.  I am a leader and a great teammate.  My goal is to turn the hard work that I have put in over the years into a basketball scholarship for the highest level I can attain.  Off the court, I am a man of high character and a leader among my peers in and out of the classroom.  I am carrying a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale and am working to sustain and improve that.  My studying interests include business and sports medicine.  My dream is to receive a basketball scholarship and play college basketball, all while receiving a quality education.
