Kyler Penco  --- Senior 2023

I am currently a Senior at Alva High School , Alva Ok.  I am the oldest of three boys in my family and it is one of my main goals to be a good role model for them to look up to, not only in sports, in my Christian walk and as a team leader on and off the court. I love the game of basketball. Being able to play at the collegiate level not only fulfills my dreams of playing college basketball, but also provides scholarship assistance to obtain my degree.   As a member of the national honor society in 2020, academics is a top priority to me.   I currently have 3.4 GPA and am enrolled in two college courses.   I want to pursue a degree in Sports medicine or accounting.   I am active in my local church and am involved in various service projects in my local community.  I have been a member of the Football team, 2021-22, Track 2019-20, 2022-23.

I have been a starter for the last 3 years, leading my team in scoring as a sophomore and junior.   The highlight of my career thus far was making it to the Oklahoma State tournament in 2021.  Some of my high school basketball honors include: All Conference MVP 2021-22 & 2022-23,  First team all-conference 2020-21,  CTB Northwest Oklahoma All Star 2021-22;  Wheat Capital runner-up and All-Tournament team 2021-22 & 2022-23.   This past summer, I was a member of Oklahoma Impact 4:13 AAU Team and experienced much success and growth in my game.   My summer highlight was going 8-0 with my high school team at the ORU basketball team camp, averaging 30+ points per game.
