Personal Statement
My name is Aric Stroop and I am a senior graduating from Van High School in Van, Texas May 2008. I desire to play basketball at the collegiate level and have had a basketball in my hand since the age of two. I am also a member of the National Society of High School Scholars knowing that education is as important as my dream of playing college ball. My position is shooting guard. And, as you can see in the video, I can lay in those outside shots. This year my coach has used me as point guard. This has improved my agility, ball handling, and ability to drive to the goal and score. I have maintained a 3.3 GPA and my PPG is 20.4. I would like to find a college that offers a degree program in education/coaching. My ultimate goal is to eventually coach at the collegiate level.
