Growth and mental connection with diving leading to full commitment into diving, leaving gymnastics. Amazing connection with other divers and coaches. Increased knowledge of diving and boardwork, as well as new learned dives.

Coming into high school I was quickly taught that I needed to balance sports and school and stay as efficient as possible. The hard way of learning this was competing in diving, gymnastics, and taking 3 AP/Honors classes. The lesson that was taught was the importance of keeping up to date with school work while also making time for sports. At regionals I took first on 4 events and All Around which was a reward for the hard work put in for both school and sports.

After recovering from a knee surgery on the meniscus, I was able to push through and take second on all events. It took a lot of effort and recovery training to catch up to teammates and other teams that were competing and I was lucky enough to have an opportunity to return to get stronger and better than before. Teaching me about work effort and drive.
