Devon Gordon '22 Recruiting Profile

I am passionate about competitive diving. I started my athletic career when I was 8 years old competing in gymnastics. Specifically, trampoline and tumbling. I excelled early and was the State Champion in Missouri every year following my first year. In Regional and National Championships, I regularly finished in the top 5.

Eventually, my coach introduced me to diving and I fell in love with it. I love the water and enjoyed the challenge of converting my gymnastic skills into diving. I quickly joined a local diving club called Clayton Diving Alliance which is run by past National Champions here in Missouri.

I would love to continue my diving career in college and beyond. Through my club diving schedule, I have been able to see many college campus' already. That said, I am on the Lafayette High School diving team currently where I have been on the varsity team all 4 years. Most recently, I placed 3rd at the State Championships.
