Gunther Soltvedt '23 Recruiting Profile

My passion for playing golf began at the age of 5 when my dad brought me to the golf course where he worked and put a club in my hand.  When I turned 13, I started biking myself to the local course to play almost every day of the week.  As I have aged, that passion has just grown and I golf as much as I am able.  I want to take the next step by playing college golf while furthering my education. 

 The highlight of my high school golf career was winning a high school tournament by 4 strokes which aided my team to a victory.  Looking forward I plan to improve my skills and course management with further coaching. I am a hard worker both on the course and off.  I always have a great attitude- even on the tough days. My integrity is rock solid and my academics are on par as well.   Having the opportunity to learn more about the game and play golf with my new teammates will be awesome.
