My parents have taught me how to work hard, respect my coaches and not to take anything I am given for granted. I love the game of golf and have been blessed with talent to play the game. I don't want to waste the talent I have been given. I want to use it to play golf at the college level and contribute to the success of a collegiate golf program. Golf has taught me many life lessons as well. Some of these are determination, perseverance, how to lose, how to win, good sportsmanship, self-control and respect for others.
I got my first set of clubs at the age of 3 and my love of the game began. I started playing competitive golf at the age of 8 and have played in several tournaments throughout the Southeast in the last several years. Last year, in 8th grade, I played on my school's varsity golf team and was competitive in our region until our season was cancelled due to COVID. I am looking forward to growing even more in the game throughout my high school career.
