Dylan Sherlock '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Dylan Sherlock.  For as long as I can remember, golf has been a part of my life.  Both my Dad and my Uncle, Matt Sherlock have been a great influence and teacher for my golf career.  My uncle Matt is a PGA head professional and president of the Iowa PGA section.  They have taught me through hard work and perseverance, that reaching my goals in golf are possible.  Starting my freshman year, I have reached some of those goals.  I qualified for the state tournament and finished in 8th place.  I have made 1st and 2nd team all conference teams my freshman and junior year.  I have played on the Iowa Jr. PGA tour my sophomore and junior year.  I finished 32nd out of over 200 kids my sophomore year, and 19th out of over 200 my junior year.  My goal for my senior year is to continue to improve my position and skills of the game.  

I am looking for a college and coach who will continue to develop  on the foundation I have built.  Through hard work and exercise, I average almost 300 yards off the tee.  My driver club head speed has been as high as 120mph, and I hit my irons very crisp.   I know the right coach will help me get to the next level.
