Andon Herrera '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andon Herrera and I am a Golfer in the class of 2023. I attend Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas and I am a 3-year Varsity team member. 

I started playing golf my freshman year and from the second I picked up a golf club, I knew I had found my passion and made it my number one objective to excel.  Over the past three years, I have dedicated all of my focus on improving.  My scoring average has dropped greatly and my commitment to continued improvement has only strengthened. 

In addition to golf, I am a member of the National Honor Society, have a 4.0 weighted GPA, and volunteer at school and local community events. I'm proud to say that I maintain all of these things while also holding a part-time job as a Barista at a local coffee shop. 

I aim to be great, and I thrive on a team of players who strive for excellence.  I am a leader who is coachable, respectful and compassionate and I would love to be given the opportunity to compete at the next level, while furthering my education.
