As I stood on the tee box of the 18th hole with my current PGA teaching pro he reminded me that all I needed was a par to shoot -1 for the day. I grabbed my driver, teed up my ball, focused on my routine. I was ready and confident to hit the shot that I have worked so hard to trust. 3 shots later, I walked off the green with a tap in par and celebrated with my coach. Moments like these are the reason I absolutely love the game of golf.
My goal is to play College Golf and be a competitive factor and a positive influence on the team as I continue with my college education. I have played Varsity Golf all 4 years for my High School team and I have played the #1 spot on my team for the last 2 years, I have been chosen as the captain of my team because of my leadership skills and my ability to befriend others and inspire confidence throughout the team.
I am dedicated and excited to play Golf at the next level. I'm passionate and continuing to improve my game daily. I have a great coach and great support from my parents. I have always been a multi sport athlete and have earned my varsity letter in basketball the last 2 years. I love all of the things I have learned playing multiple sports, It has helped me develop a strong competitive work ethic and become a well rounded athlete. Now that I have decided to focus 100% on golf the feel the sky's the limit.
