My name is Alexander McClain and I am in the class of 2024 at South Lakes High School in Reston VA. I have started on the varsity golf team since my freshman year. I won the Concorde district my sophomore year and my junior year the team qualified for regionals. My current senior year, I placed 3rd in the Concorde district and my school is Concorde district champions. I am looking for a university where I can excel in both the business field and on the course.

I have always enjoyed competing in sports and fell in love with the sport of golf after watching Y.E. Yang win the PGA Championship when I was little.

Achieving my goal of playing on a college golf team is my focus. I am committed to working on my game and getting better. I have a personal coach and work with him at least three times a month.

I am also a committed student and my grades reflect the hard work and continued dedication I have to succeed off the golf course.
