SL Dub over Hernd...South Lakes Girls...Personal Statement
I am a 6'1" high academic versatile power forward competing in the Concorde District (class 6A) of the Virginia High School League (VHSL). I attend an IB high school & carry a 3.789 GPA (3.9 NCAA GPA). I have completed 19 NCAA Core classes at this time with my senior year English dual enrollment to complete my D1 16 core class requirements. My first SAT score is 1200 and I plan to sit for it again in Fall 2022.
Teachers and coaches describe me as coach-able, eager to learn, and a hard-working vocal leader on the court and great teammate on/off the court. Coaches have highlighted my "great size and footwork in the paint with ability to attack and finish from the perimeter; plus her shooting ability helps stretch the floor." Cited for a high basketball IQ, I can see the floor well and have a strong baseline attack with a variety of finishes at the rim. I feel like I have a lot of potential and the talent to grow while I work hard to improve my box scores. My best is yet to come!
I plan to attend college to study sports medicine and kinesiology while playing the game I love. Sports have always been an important part of my life. I want to learn more about how to help athletes improve their game physically and mentally; and to prevent or recover from injury.

- The NVWBCA COLLEGE SHOWCASE will be back in 2022 for its 22nd Edition. After a 2-year Hiatus due to Covid, the Showcase last held at Robinson Secondary in 2019 will return. This annual event, which began in 1996, has grown and adjusted over the years in response to player needs and changing NCAA rules. The last five editions after the last rule changes have focused on the event as an exposure opportunity for Division II, Division III, and NAIA Colleges. Over the years, many players have solidified their college options and opened new doors for recruitment at his event. The NVWBCA is proud of its role in providing this opportunity for young women and proud that any PROCEEDS FOR THE EVENT HELP TO FUND THE NVWBCA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM NVWBCA 22ND COLLEGE SHOWCASE SEPTEMBER 25, 2022 FAIRFAX High School 8:00 am – 1:00 pm Open to all High school players interested in a “good run “and the opportunity to be seen by college coaches. Over 100 colleges have been invited to attend. This is an individual event. Registered players will be placed on teams of 8-10 and will compete in three (3) games. Guidelines are in place to ensure equal playing time.

- Our coaching staff is offering a one day Elite Camp designed for those young ladies who are serious about learning what it takes to play at the Division I level. Campers will be instructed on collegiate level drills, game situations, the Division I recruiting process, and will learn about the life of a college student-athlete. Campers will be instructed by the Radford Women's Basketball coaching staff and will learn valuable college information from Radford Women's Basketball student-athletes. AGES: Rising 8th thru 12th graders TIME: 1:00-5:00PM COST: $60 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT: $45 REGISTRATION: online registration available as well as walk-in registration the morning of camp.

Prior to high school & with my soccer teammates, I trained for speed, strength and agility (focus on Goal keeper/Basektball) with Eddie Mason at Mase Training.
