My name is Remo Cramer and I am interested in competing in the United States with college rowing. I currently row at the Calgary Rowing Club in Alberta, Canada. I started rowing in May of 2023 under my coach Alex Marchuk by recommendation of RBC training ground (where I was invited to top 100 in late 2023), progressing quickly to a semi final appearance at Canadian Henley in the men's U17 2x in August 2023. Following my winter season I pulled a 6:47 in my first official 2k test in March 2024. I would later improve my time to a 6:35 and my current 6:28 in the coming months. Going into the 2024 spring and summer season I had some new results on water, including a 9th place finish in CSSRA's Men's U19 1x (June 1st, 2024 as a 17 year old). With my recent Erg and on water results, I was selected to Rowing Canada's 2024 CanAmMex team in the 4x, 2x, and 1x. I attribute my rapid progression with an eager drive to learn, compete, and win in rowing. Dedicated commitment to my training (90km+ per week in peak summer training) and a strong academic background from Grade 9-11 also highlight my recruiting profile. I will bring a positive, energetic, and optimistic attitude to any team, ready to attack and improve every practice. I know what it means to put in the work and am prepared to keep learning, competing, and winning ready to take rowing to the next level.
