Personal Statement

Being an immigrant, I had next to no family on this continent and spent years searching for a community. I got beyond lucky finding the sport of rowing five years ago, and ever since, there hasn't been a day where I haven't been grateful for the family that I've found in this community. I've experienced working with all sorts of teams and boats, from Novice Girls to Men's Masters in the 60+ division. These experiences showed me how truly strong the bond of this sport is, no matter the age or background. I have become a stronger and more confident leader and individual because of it and I strive to grow because of it every single day. In college, I'd like to continue being part of a strong community and want to contribute to a team with a strong, connected culture. I am dedicated and committed to my team and teammates beyond measure and will bring full engagement and energy to whatever team I am part of. I look forward to learning more about your team and values.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
